The Eola-Amity Hills represent the southernmost sub-AVA of the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Wines in this area tend to be concentrated and spicy, and Cristom’s Pinot Noirs are no exception. Their Mt. Jefferson Cuvée is a blend of estate vineyards that are harvested with 46% whole cluster before fermenting in stainless steel and aging for 11 months in 21% new French oak barriques. Juicy fruit is accented by spicy, stemmy aromas and the wines structure is perfectly balanced by fresh acidity on the finish.
